County Finishes 2025-26 Fiscal Year With Strong Overall Growth

(UCBJ) – Putnam County’s sales tax collections increased 6.3% in June compared to the same month in 2025, according to Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter.

“Some of the larger changes may be corrections from previous months,” according to Porter.

The June report is the final report of the 2025-26 fiscal year. Putnam County posted an average sales tax collection increase of 6.2% for the year.
