Rising unemployment rates continue month over month trend
Unemployment’s rates are up in the Upper Cumberland.
Warren County has a rate of 4.5%, up from 3.3% last month. Elsewhere in the Upper Cumberland, Cannon County sits at 3.3, up from 2.6% in June, while Clay rose from 3.9% to 5.6% in June.
Cumberland County sits at 4.3% and DeKalb County landed at 4.7%.
Fentress rose to 3.1% from 4.2% a month ago while Van Buren landed at 5.0%. Jackson County stands at 4.6%, up from 3.3% in June, and Macon County’s number stands at 3.4%. Overton lifted slightly from 3.9% to 2.9% while Putnam sits at a 3.9%. Smith landed at 3.2% and White County landed at 4%.
Pickett County landed at 4.3% for the month.
