Overall jobless number is down in most counties of the region from a month ago
The unemployment number in the Upper Cumberland dipped slightly in November.
Warren County has a rate of 3.9%, down from 4.3% in October. Elsewhere, Cannon County sits at 3.3%, down from 3.4% in the previous month, while Clay sits at 4.9%. Cumberland County sits at 4.2% and DeKalb County landed at 4.4%.
Fentress stands at 3.7% while Van Buren landed at 4.5%. Jackson County stands at 4% in November, and Macon County’s number stands at 3.2%. Overton stands at 3.4% while Putnam sits at a 3.6%. Smith landed at 3.1% and White County’s rate is 3.9%.
Pickett County sits at 3.9% unemployment in November.
