COOKEVILLE – The next wave of store openings at the Shoppes at Eagle Point is upon us and the stores are eager to get to business.  Although the grand openings are scheduled for later in November, several stores have already held “soft openings.”

Academy Sports has an official grand opening set for Nov. 3-4 with giveaways both days.  An official ribbon cutting was held this past Saturday with Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton and Putnam County Executive Randy Porter.

Torrid held a preview party on Monday, Oct. 29 and is open to customers.  The official grand opening will be Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. with gift cards for the first 50 shoppers.

Shoe Carnival will celebrate their grand opening on Nov. 10 and 11.  Gift cards and cash giveaways will be featured each day.  Shoe Carnival is open to customers now.

Carters is still set to open in November with a grand opening date not announced yet.
