They will officially start seeing patients April 14
The Cardiothoracic and Vascular (CV) Surgery office (CVSO) is moving to the newly renovated Tennessee Heart building at 222 West Fourth Street in Cookeville.
The CVSO is the home of cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon Dr. Timothy J. Powell, cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Billy Parsons and vascular surgeon Dr. Michael Sywak. They will officially start seeing patients Monday, April 14, 2025.
“This office is a beautiful new space for patients to come and meet with their surgeon pre- and post-operation, procedure or testing,” said Dr. Bruce Johnson, Chief Medical Officer at CRMC.
The move will allow better patient access, according to a release by CRMC.
“The beauty of this new location is that the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation center is directly above the suite, so patients are close to their cardiologist and/or surgeon during postoperative time,” according to Johnson.
