COOKEVILLE – In an unprecedented event, Dr. Phil Oldham has announced that all classes and offices at Tennessee Tech will remain closed on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Tennessee Tech has closed for sporadic weather events over past years, but this is the first time in decades that winter weather has necessitated the closure of the university for four consecutive days.

Due to widespread power and internet outages, no online classes will be conducted.

A decision about Friday’s classes will be announced by 2 p.m. on Thursday.
