Tennessee Heart hosts ‘All About Your Heart’

COOKEVILLE —Cardiologists at Tennessee Heart are hosting a free evening of food and education at the Leslie Town Center located at 1 West First St. on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

“All About Your Heart” is a free event and is open to the public for patients to come and learn new ways to take care of the heart, as well as enjoy a dinner alongside five of Tennessee Heart’s cardiologists. 

The cardiologists at Tennessee Heart will be presenting patient education and talking about the latest updates in cardiac services available at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Those who arrive early, between the hours of 3:30-4:30 p.m., may participate in a free blood pressure or BMI screening.

Chris Adams, M.D.; Stacey Brewington, M.D.; Ashley Nickerson, D.O.; Scott Reising, M.D.; and Alex Case, M.D. will be discussing topics such as warning signs of a heart attack, procedures for structural heart disease and the power of prevention.
