Downtown welcomes a colorful new addition

The Whimsical Hand Maker’s Studio and Art Gallery recently held a ribbon cutting in Algood.

Local officials were on hand for the event.

“Congratulations to ‘The Whimsical Hand” Maker’s Studio and Art Gallery on its grand opening ribbon cutting,” said Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter in a statement.

During the Feb. 21 opening, visitors were treated to prizes, food and live entertainment. The studio is located at 103 West Main Street in Algood.
