Sip, Taste, Mingle slated for Mar. 8

COOKEVILLE – Enjoy fine local foods and global wines at the 3rd annual “Sip, Taste, Mingle” scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 8, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Leslie Town Centre, 1 W. 1st St. in Cookeville.

Learn about food and drink pairing and hear firsthand from vendors featuring dozens of varieties of fine wine. Proceeds from Sip, Taste, Mingle will benefit the Heart Fund at the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation and be used to assist local heart patients in the Upper Cumberland.

Sip, Taste, Mingle will also showcase paintings from regional artists which will be available for potential sponsorship into the Art for Healing collection on display at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Patrons who choose to sponsor a work of art are recognized with a plaque which hangs next to the painting installed at CRMC.

Participating restaurant sponsors at Sip Taste Mingle include: The Blue Pig, Nick’s, Persis Indian Grill, Seven Senses, and Spankies. The event is being hosted by Happy Hour Wine & Liquor and Andrea & Terry Burckhard, Agents with New York Life. Additional sponsors include: Bailey Manor, Rogers Group, Kyle Bradley and Jig Head Brewing Company.
