A go-to destination for weddings and the annual visit to Santa Claus
The UCBJ has learned that the SaltBox Inn (Saltbox), located at 525 Hutchenson Road in Cookeville, is closing June 30, 2025, due to a personal situation within the company’s ownership.
The Saltbox originally part of a 22-acre piece of property, became a well-known, unique destination for weddings ever since its opening in Nov. 2013 by owners Ed and Suzanne Buck. It is a place where the “main purpose is to offer a unique venue that celebrates and creates memories with family and friends…,” according to the Salt Box website.
All events scheduled before the June 30 closing are expected to continue as planned.
