Registration underway for CRMC Foundation Golf Classic

CRMC Foundation Golf Classic

Cookeville, TN – Bill Buckner, formerly of the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs, will be the keynote speaker and special celebrity guest at the upcoming Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation Golf Classic. The tournament is a two-day event with a four-person scramble format to be held Thursday, Aug. 17 and Friday, Aug. 18 at the Golden Eagle Golf Club, with a Celebrity Dinner being held on Thursday evening.

Major sponsors of the Golf Classic include Larco Medical and Pharmacy Inc., Turner, and First Tennessee. Additional sponsorship packages and team registration opportunities are currently available. Those interested in signing up are encouraged to do so quickly by completing registration information found at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org or calling the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation office at 931-783-2003. One team of four players is $700.

Reservations to the Celebrity Dinner are limited to event sponsors until the end of July, when tickets will go on sale to the public.  No tickets will be available at the door. The Celebrity Dinner will include fine dining and a presentation by Bill Buckner followed by a question and answer session lead by local sports authority Buddy Pearson. Dinner tickets are $65 per person.

The CRMC Golf Classic supports the programs and services of the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation; with special emphasis on three funds: Caring Hands Patient Assistance Fund, Cancer Fund and Pink Ribbon Save-A-Life Free Mammogram Fund.
