The Cookeville- Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) will hold its annual Women’s Conference, “a transformative day of inspiration, empowerment and networking,” Oct. 29 at the Leslie Town Centre in Cookeville.
The event will be moderated by Tiffany Anton of The Biz Foundry and Powered By Her podcast.
“We’re excited to feature Saba Chishti and Lisa Uhrik, who will join forces for a session on “Negotiation of the Ask,” according to the Chamber.
“Saba Chishti, founder of Inara Consulting, is a seasoned entrepreneur who has successfully owned, scaled and sold multiple businesses. Now, she helps women entrepreneurs gain clarity, streamline operations, and build strategies that fuel growth and profitability. With a passion for empowering women to achieve financial freedom, Saba provides actionable roadmaps that turn big visions into confident, sustainable success,” according to the Chamber.

Uhrik is an author, speaker and a “mentor to leaders” and co-owner of two manufacturing companies, Franklin Fixtures and a “general contracting organization.” She (and her husband Dave) also partnered with Ashley Michael in the founding of Plenty Downtown Bookshop, a successful bookstore in the WestSide of Cookeville.
“Over the last 36 years, Lisa has helped organizations and their leaders solve problems, make strategic choices, grow their own capabilities, and navigate the daily negotiations that come with doing great work,” according to the Chamber.
The focus is to shine light on how negotiation plays a part in both business and life.
“From strategic decisions to everyday problem-solving, they’ll share practical insights and empowering approaches to asking with confidence and creating stronger outcomes.
