Roots Salon (RS), an upscale Aveda salon located at 1227 North Washington Avenue in Cookeville, is having its 8th anniversary in 2025. The company is celebrating in style with a 1,200-square-foot expansion.
“This will bring our total salon space to 3,200 square feet, allowing us to continue to grow and better serve our wonderful clients,” according to RS.
RS Owner Emily Blackmon says she is grateful for the support.
“We have been so grateful for the support and growth we’ve experienced in the Upper Cumberland community, and we would love to share this milestone with your readers. It would be an honor to be featured in the May issue of the Upper Cumberland Business Journal if possible, as we take this next exciting step in our journey,” according to Blackmon.

“We are eager to celebrate this new chapter with the region that has been so integral to our success,” said Blackmon.
