She has been with the City of Cookeville since 2022
“Please join us in congratulating Jenni Nisewander on her first official day as Finance Director of the City of Cookeville,” according to the City of Cookeville.
Nisewander brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University (TTU) and a Master of Business Administration from TTU. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO).
“Before joining the City of Cookeville, Jenni spent nearly 15 years at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) on Arnold Air Force Base in TN, where she worked in accounting. She has been with the City of Cookeville since 2022, gaining valuable municipal finance experience as our City’s Assistant Finance Director,” according to the City.
City Manager James Mills expressed confidence in her leadership.
“We are excited to have Jenni step into this leadership role and continue the tradition of strong financial stewardship for our city. Her extensive background in accounting and finance, combined with her dedication to the City of Cookeville, makes her the ideal choice for this position,” said Mills.
