Following the lighting, there will be live performances
McMinnville – On Saturday, Nov. 25 Main Street McMinnville will celebrate the “Lighting of Main Street” with a “flip the switch” ceremony at 5 p.m.
“So, grab your family and friends and come on to McMinnville to spend a fun filled evening with live performances to carriage rides and ice skating with McMinnville on Ice,” said Main Street McMinnville (MSM).
Festivities will kick off on “the grassy lot across from City Hall.”
Following the lighting, there will be a performance by Journey’s Movement and Dance Performance Company at 5:15 p.m. along with carriage rides, and ice skating from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Excitement is in the air watching the Christmas lights go up downtown,” said the MSM. “Make sure to join us for the magical lighting of the Christmas lights in downtown McMinnville.”
