TCT spans 4.23 miles alongside an active rail line
This Friday, Tennessee Central Trail (TCT) is holding a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:15 p.m. The event, which unveils their brand-new tourism trail maps, will take place at the Cookeville Depot Spokes Arch Trailhead, located across the street from The French Cookie and Edison Hills.
“These new tourism maps will help showcase the beauty and adventure that the trail has to offer while highlighting local businesses who support the trail,” according to a release.
The TCT spans 4.23 miles alongside an active rail line connecting the Cookeville Depot Museum to the Algood Community Center.
“Offering a scenic and accessible path for both locals and visitors…,” according to the release.
The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the event.
“We are excited to share these with the community and so very thankful for all the sponsors and volunteers that made this happen! Ride, walk or run by and join us Friday to show your support for this project,” said the TCT.
