Mission is to empower families with knowledge and tools

Johnson McGinnis Elder Care Law & Estate Planning’s (JMEC) new Cookeville office at 304 North Washington Avenue will help them “strengthen its commitment to the Upper Cumberland.” The Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the event.

“While their team has long served the area, this new location marks an exciting milestone,” according to the Chamber.

Attorney Josh Hunter is a Tennessee Tech graduate and former employee of the Upper Cumberland Development District. According to JMEC, Hunter says he loves the fact that the company now has a physical location in Cookeville.

“As a graduate of Tennessee Tech and former employee of UCDD, I love that we now have a brick-and-mortar office in Cookeville and are better able to serve this community,” said Hunter on tn-elderlaw.com, the company’s website. “Being present in Cookeville allows us to provide a more personal, hands-on approach to legal guidance and planning, ensuring that local families receive the highest level of service and support.”

JMEC’s mission is to empower families with knowledge and tools that will give them the ability to “make informed decisions about aging, health care and asset protection” while securing a future with confidence. According to the Chamber, experience and compassion are key in the company’s future success.

“With over 30 years of experience, Johnson McGinnis provides compassionate legal guidance, care coordination, and public benefits support to help families navigate aging, chronic illness, and disability across Cookeville and 24 surrounding counties. Come out to see their new space and learn more about what they do!”
