Local Raymond James branch shows thanks to the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic

COOKEVILLE – Throughout the year, the Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) branch, located off of North Washington Avenue, allows each employee the opportunity to select a charity to donate to. Jessica Lamb, Administrative Assistant from Livingston, chose the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic (CPC) as this quarter’s focus.

CPC is a free medical clinic that offers confidential services. They offer pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling and practical assistance. They also offer mobile services in communities around the Upper Cumberland. The RJFS branch joined together to pick out useful items for the clinic. They donated wipes, diapers, paper towels, clothing, bibs and more.

Lamb stated, “I chose the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic because they serve our community in such a wonderful way. Raising a child is not easy and it can be very overwhelming. They strive to help educate expecting parents through their journey whether it be adoption, birth and up to raising a toddler. They help support struggling parents to afford diapers, wipes, clothes and many other needs. My husband and I had kids at a young age and personally know the hardships that comes with that. I know they will use the donations we provided to help some local families that really need it.”
