Inspired by the loss of their daughter in the 2020 tornadoes, the Phillips opened Little Blessings to support local families
Little Blessings Daycare (LBD) recently held a ribbon-cutting in Cookeville. The day care, which honors the late daughter of owners Mike and Kim Phillips, is designed to serve up to 70 children.
The Cookeville Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event.
“Yesterday we celebrated the grand opening of Little Blessings Day Care, owned and operated by Mike and Kim Phillips! Inspired by the loss of their daughter in the 2020 tornadoes, the Phillips opened Little Blessings to support local families and provide a safe, nurturing space for children,” according to the Chamber.
The facility is bright blue. It was their daughter’s favorite color.
“Their brand-new, bright blue facility is designed to serve up to 70 children and currently has 20 openings available,” according to the Chamber.
Safety is priority one at LBD.
“Little Blessings is also proud to be the first day care in the city with certified police officers on-site at all times, offering an extra layer of care and security. Congrats to Mike and Kim on this meaningful new chapter,” according to the Chamber.
LBD is located at 1771 West Broad Street. For more information, call 931-559-4730.
