Julian was hired to partner with Executive Director Tammy Hogan

Cookeville – Mustard Seed Ranch (MSR), an interdenominational Christian ministry, has hired Kim Julian as the ministry’s financial director.

According to a release by MSR, Julian was hired to partner with Executive Director Tammy Hogan to assist in MSR financial management, strategic financial planning for the future, annual audits and grants opportunities.

“We are so excited to welcome Kim (Julian) back into the MSR family,” said MSR. “Kim and her husband, Greg Julian, served as the first house parents at Mustard Seed Ranch. Their dedication to the Ranch from inception provided 10 years of a loving home for 21 boys. Kim’s professional experience in accounting and house parenting will provide MSR with leadership in financial excellence and mentorship for our current and future house parents. Welcome home Mama Kim.”

Julian, a native of Cookeville, graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a BS degree and MBA in Accounting. From 2005-2018, she worked in accounting for Hugh and Bailey and Associates from 2005-2018 and Allen Roberts PLLC from 2018-2023.

Julian and Greg have been married for 31 years and have two biological children, Bud and Paige along with multiple grandchildren. In addition, they have extended family members they gained as a result of their time at the Ranch, according MSR.

“I am looking forward to joining the MSR administration team,” said Julian. “I am honored to have been a part of the Mustard Seed Ranch family since the beginning. Greg and I loved being house parents. I have managed the books for MSR during that time and since we stepped down from being house parents four years ago. Accepting the position of financial director means that I am coming home. It will allow me to continue serving in the ministry that Greg and I have kept close to our hearts.”
