Cookeville agricultural experience includes working on a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant called Agribusiness Academy
Cookeville – Kendall Griffin has joined Farm Credit Mid-America (FCMA) an associate financial officer in Cookeville.
Griffin’s agricultural experience includes working on a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant called Agribusiness Academy for three years as an undergraduate and graduate assistant.
She also previously interned at FCMA in 2021. Griffin said she will use her deep understanding of agriculture to help customers navigate the unique marketplace.
“I’m excited to join Farm Credit Mid-America and look forward to helping our customers reach their goals,” says Griffin. “I hope to provide local customers and farmers with the tools and resources they need to help their operation be successful.”
Griffin graduated from the University of Tennessee in May 2023 with a Master of Science in Agriculture Leadership, Education and Communications.
She grew up on a farm in Petersburg, Tennessee where she learned the value of hard work, according to FCMA. Her family raised Hereford and Simmental cattle and showed them across the country through 4-H.
“Kendall brings deep agricultural knowledge to our team. Between her work as a former intern at Farm Credit Mid-America and the Agribusiness Academy, she has quickly become an expert in the industry,” says David Weatherly, regional vice president with Farm Credit Mid-America. “We provide the farmers and rural residents of this area with the best possible financial solutions for their unique situations. Kendall’s background has equipped her with the skills to help our customers. We invite anyone in the community to stop by and meet her and the rest of our team.”
