COOKEVILLE —The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565 S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday,June 11, for seven employers seeking to fill more than 100 positions in White, Putnam and surrounding counties.
Employers include Perdue Farms, ABM, Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, WISE Staffing, Senior Solutions Home Care, UCHRA (STAR Program) and Goodwill. Openings include retail associate (cashier), processor, production worker, correction officer, caregiver, janitor, housekeeping, packer and loader and other positions. Rates of pay reach $12 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
