Store will have a complete remodel in the coming weeks

Cookeville – Last Monday, the Dunkin’ Donuts location at 980 South Jefferson Avenue in Cookeville closed the doors to its dining room. The drive-thru has remained open to the public, but the Upper Cumberland Business Journal has learned the drive-thru will shutter as well starting next Friday.

Signage – The all to familiar Dunkin’ sign on the front of the building has been removed.

The closing is only temporary, however. It will last only two weeks while the entire facility gets a makeover. The entire store will reopen on Friday, May 12 with a new look.

Temporary sign – The sign out front has seen better days.

Dunkin’ is one of the leading coffee and doughnut shop chains globally. It has its Headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts and the brand offers over70 doughnut varieties, cold coffee drinks, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods in over 12,000 locations globally.

This is an ongoing story. Check back for updates.
