Cookeville’s Drake’s is the company’s 22nd location
Cookeville – Drake’s Burgers and Sushi has officially opened for business in Cookeville.
In celebration, the restaurant will be hosting a ribbon cutting Monday Aug. 14.
“The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived,” said the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber). “Drake’s is now open for business, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Join us on day one as we kick-start this exciting journey with a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.”
Cookeville’s Drake’s is the company’s 22nd location. They now have five locations in TN including restaurants in Franklin, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Bristol and Cookeville. The Cookeville location is a part of an expansion strategy includes plans to open restaurants in Jeffersonville, IN and O’Fallon Missouri in the spring and summer of 2023.
The restaurant originally announced plans to expand reach to Cookeville back in Dec. 2022. Although specializing in “Burgers and Sushi,” the restaurant and bar will also serve salads and chili, smashed burgers, steaks and sandwiches along with craft cocktails. It has been touted as a restaurant that loves beer and a bar that loves food.
