Once the Cookeville location opens for business, Drake’s will have 22 locations across the country
Cookeville – Drake’s, the Kentucky based bar and restaurant chain, has broken ground on their future home in Cookeville. The restaurant will be located next to Panda Express in the shoppes at Eagle Point.
The restaurant specializes in burgers and sushi, but they also serve salads and chili, smashed burgers, steaks, and sandwiches along with craft cocktails. It has been touted as a restaurant that loves beer, and a bar that loves food.
Getting started – RTC General Contractors are contracting the project
When Drakes announced plans to expand to Cookeville, Mayor Randy Porter told the UCBJ he is excited to welcome the burger joint to town. Cookeville has become a destination city for business and industry.
“I am always happy to see new restaurants and businesses coming to our County,” said Porter. “We have worked hard to create a business-friendly environment, and I think it shows with all the new businesses opening here.”
Once the Cookeville location opens for business, Drake’s will have 22 locations across the country. They have four locations in TN including restaurants in Franklin, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Bristol as well as locations in Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, Indiana and Illinois.
