Crumbl has an ongoing strategy of expansion

Cookeville – Crumbl Cookies will soon be opening on Interstate Drive in the Shoppes at Eagle Point in Cookeville following an ongoing strategy of expansion that has seen the cookie company open 8 stores in the last 10 days alone and two more planned over the next week. No grand opening date has yet been announced.

Crumble Cookies claims to have “the best cookies in the world” and offers a weekly rotating menu of cookies made from 200+ flavors. These cookies can be purchased in store, locally delivered or shipped nationwide. Crumbl features four specialty cookies each week along with the award- winning Milk Chocolate Chip and Classic Pink Sugar cookies.

The OG – The original Chocolate Chip Cookie.

“Our cookies are more than just your traditional cookies” said Chelsea Currier, vice president of research and development for Crumbl Cookies. “We like to provide innovative flavors that are inspired by cakes, ice creams, cereals and other desserts. This strategy allowed us to create a bank of more than 200 flavors to serve in the weekly rotating menu.”

Currier says nostalgia helps drive Crumbl.

“The nuance of preference, the unique individual food experience and the treat nostalgia of youth is what drives us to create flavors that keep customers coming back for more,” said Currier. “Our cookie development is strongly influenced by our bakers across the nation. We take their feedback seriously when developing Crumbl cookie flavors. Although our R&D team has decades of culinary experience under our belts, we strive continuously to be THE cookie experts. We continue to research, learn and taste our way through cookie development.”

With an in-store visit, cookie lovers will see staff members mix, bake and prepare the cookies fresh in an open kitchen for all to see. Sawyer Hemsley, Crumbl chief operating officer, said quality and consistency is key.

“Having our customers see every cookie being made is one of the best experiences of our stores,” said Hemsley. “Each ingredient is carefully chosen to provide customers with the highest quality cookies, every time.”

Some of the Crumbl specialty cookies include Muddy Buddy, Biscoff Lava, Funfetti, Snickerdoodle, Coconut Lime, Chocolate Caramel, Hazelnut Sea Salt, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Rocky Road, S’Mores, Pumpkin Pie and many more.

Fresh – Cookies are made fresh everyday.

“It all started with one big dream,” according to Crumbl, “two cookie-crazed cousins and the perfect combination of flour, sugar and chocolate chips.”

Crumbl was co-founded by Jason McGowan (CEO) and Hemsley (COO) when they teamed up and dove head-first into the world of baking. They gathered feedback and tested recipes, a practice that is still part of the Crumbl process, until they created the “world’s best chocolate chip cookie.”

After developing the perfect recipe, the duo and their family opened Crumbl’s first store in Logan, Utah in 2017. At first, Crumbl only served fresh milk chocolate chip cookies, but soon after other services became available.

This is an ongoing story. Check back for updates.
