The format will be a four-person scramble
The Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation Golf Classic will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 15 and 16, at the Golden Eagle Golf Club. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will go to patient assistance funds helping residents of the Upper Cumberland struggling with disease, sickness or injury.
“This is an easy and fun way for anyone to help local patients that need support today,” said John Bell, executive director of the CRMC Foundation. “It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or if you have never played golf before, this tournament is about coming together to help our neighbors struggling with health needs.”
The Golf Classic still has a few team slots available for the 8 a.m. flight and 1 p.m. flight on Thursday and the 1 p.m. flight Friday. The Friday a.m. flight is sold out. The format will be a four-person scramble. Team registration is $1,000 for a foursome and includes meals, tournament shirt, tournament games, mulligan, $20,000 hole-in-one competition, golf balls, golf-cart access, snacks and drinks.
Teams may be registered by calling 931-783-2003 or at https://crmchealth.org/foundation-events.
