Proceeds from the Golf Classic will go to patient assistance funds

Cookeville – Cookeville Regional Medical Center will hold its annual Golf Classic on August 17 and 18 at the Golden Eagle Golf Club.

Proceeds from the Golf Classic will go to patient assistance funds to help residents of the Upper Cumberland struggling with disease, sickness or injury.

“This is a fun way for anyone to help local patients that need support today,” said John Bell, executive director of CRMC Foundation. “It doesn’t matter if you have never played golf before or if you are a pro, this tournament is about coming together to help local patients.”

The Golf Classic will have an 8 a.m. flight and a 1 p.m. flight on both Thursday and Friday and will be a four-person scramble. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, tournament polo, golf balls, cart access, and entry into the $10,000 Hole in One Competition are all included with registration.

Participation and sponsorship options are listed online at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org/golf-classic or by calling 931-783-2003.

The CRMC Foundation Golf Classic is presented by First Horizon and Just Breathe Oxygen & Medical Equipment. Eagle sponsors include McGriff, Gresham Smith, Averitt, Turner and Vizient. In-kind sponsors include O’Charley’s, Seven Senses, Chick-Fil-A, Coke, Five-Star Food Service, Budweiser of Cookeville and Little Debbie.
