Craft Center hosts invitational alumni exhibition

SMITHVILLE – Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft will host the 2022 School of Art, Craft & Design Invitational Alumni Exhibition through Oct. 5, in its Dogwood Gallery.

The invitational exhibition features work from all nine of the SAC&D’s Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentration areas, thus creating an exhibition of works ranging from traditional fine craft to digital design.

The artists selected inject their unique creative vision into their works, in the course of displaying strong technical understanding and material mastery, which is a foundation of the SAC&D curricular philosophy.

The exhibition features artwork by Ellen Kleckner, Chase Gamblin, Ian Mabry, Becca Dilldine, Amanda Micheletto-Blouin, Jen Luna, Courtney Melvin, Nicole Groot, Mitchell White, Andrew Reist, Savannah Bell, J. Michael Floyd, Jess Filoteo, Dylan Loftis, Stacie Thomas and Brad Smith.

Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The ACC is located at 1560 Craft Center Drive, Smithville, Tennessee.
