Target opening date of Jan. 2
Dunlap – The Cookie Jar Café at 1887 Kelly Cross Rd in Dunlap is continuing to rebuild following an electrical fire that forced the café’s closure earlier this year.
The cafe has set a target opening date of Jan. 2.
“We are so blessed to announce our target opening date,” said the café on Facebook. “We cannot wait to see all your wonderful faces and start the new year off with a great start.”
Over the past few months since the fire in mid-summer, CJC has raised funds by selling gifts cards. Gift cards are still available. Why digital?
“This is to assure you that the gift cards don’t have and expiration date,” said CJC, “just the promise of wonderful meals. All gift cards will be honored in-store and through online orders once we reopen.”
CJC wants to thank the public.
“The flames couldn’t extinguish our spirit” said TCJ on Facebook. “We will always be thankful for your love and encouragement. Can’t wait to welcome you all back to the Cafe in the next few months.”
