Parade sponsored by a group of individuals in Cookeville
‘Tis the season, and Cookeville’s Christmas Parade is back on with the theme “Remember the Reason.” The parade is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m.
Local businesses and those interested are encouraged to apply.
“Updates will be available on the Cookeville Christmas Parade’s website. This year’s 2025 Christmas Parade is sponsored by a group of individuals in Cookeville who remember the annual Christmas parade as a sweet memory of their childhood,” according to a release.
Parade organizers want the public to know that Jesus is the reason for the season.
“The only agenda of the group is that much would be made of the reason for the Christmas celebration, Jesus Christ, and that kids in Cookeville today would be able to have the same sweet memories,” according to the release.
The 2025 schedule is as follows:
Friday, December 12 at 12 p.m.: Application Deadline (Late applications will not be accepted.
Thursday, December 18, Time TBD: Parade Participant Meeting (Location TBD)
Friday, December 19: Parade Date
- 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.: Parade Line-up Time
- 7:00 p.m.: Parade Start Time
Monday, December 22: Parade Rain Date
- 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.: Parade Line-up Time
- 7:00 p.m.: Parade Start Time
