This Saturday, Oct.5, the Second Annual Putnam County Chuckwagon Festival will be held at Lazy G Ranch at 6070 Dodson Branch Road in Cookeville.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and limited tickets are available for an “authentic Chuckwagon dining experience.”
“But the fun doesn’t end there,” according to a release by Visit Cookeville–Putnam County. “Saturday’s lineup also includes entertaining Wild West Shows, Artisan Vendors, Wagon Rides/Bison Tours for $10, Cattle Roping and a dedicated kids’ area for the little cowpokes to enjoy.”

“It’s getting close,” posted LG on Facebook. “Get your tickets for some good Chuckwagon Cooking! And see some Cowboy Shootouts and tour the Bison field. We will have lots for the kid’s petting zoo and pony rides. Make your plans.”
