The latest numbers show Putnam County pulling in hundreds of thousands more than last February
Putnam County sales tax collections spiked in February, according to Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter. Total Tax collections for Putnam County in February were up 9% compared to February 2025.
“Some of the larger changes may be corrections from previous months,” according to Porter.
