Center treats acute and chronic wounds and more
Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Advanced Wound Care Center (AWCC) is holding a ribbon cutting Thursday, April 3 from 4 to 4:30 p.m. AWCC is located at 445 North Cedar Avenue in Cookeville and the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) will be on hand for the event.
“Join us as we celebrate the new location for CRMC’s Advanced Wound Care Center (AWCC),” said the Chamber. “The AWCC has been serving the community for over a decade, helping those who have a non-healing wound with treatment and healing.”
Types of wound treatments available are:
- Acute and chronic wounds
- Pressure ulcers
- Venous and arterial wounds
- Bone and soft tissue infections
- Diabetic wounds
- Extremity wounds with edema
- Non-healing surgical wounds or grafts
“Director of the AWCC, Jason Wyatt, is excited to be able to serve more patients while maintaining their top-quality care in their new location,” according to the Chamber.
