It began as an online boutique in May 2016, focused on bringing affordable fashions to customers’ doorsteps. In less than a year, The Dressing Room opened the doors to their brick-and-mortar storefront in February 2017. The Dressing Room strives to cater to everyone and every price point; even offering layaway.

“In high school I wanted this pair of leather boots, but real leather boots are expensive so I bought some knockoff boots,” said owner Jennifer Lanzilotta. “I believe I had to buy three pairs that year. I wanted customers to be able to buy whatever they wanted, so I added layaway.”

The boutique recently began offering a Mystery Box subscription service, allowing subscribers the opportunity to be styled by The Dressing Room staff. Each month, subscribers receive $75 worth of clothing for the $50 subscription price while receiving coordinated items to fit the latest trends.
