“We are excited to be a new manufacturing company in the great state of Tennessee. TNECD was instrumental in helping us to decide to locate here. We were based in Texas, and now we are happy to call Crossville home. We appreciate all the hard work from the local and state officials that helped us make this decision,” according to J. Pearson, CEO, Durable Products.

Here are five things to know about Durable Products and the expansion.

1. Beginnings: DP was Founded in 1982 in Crossville

The company manufactures rubber and polyurethane products and is now a subsidiary GreenLiner, LLC (Texas). 2. Ownership changed in May 2025

DP was acquired by GreenLiner, LLC, a Texas-based truck bed mat and rubber product supplier, in May 2025. The acquisition was handled by FourBridges Capital Advisors with the goal of supporting future growth while preserving the company’s legacy.

      3. What the company makes

DP produces rubber and polyurethane components serving indsutries such as heavy trucking, industrial machinery, and other sectors requiring durable custom engineered parts.

      Key manufacturing processes include:

      • Compression molding
      • Vacuum molding (both autoclave and open‑cure)
      • Polyurethane reaction injection molding
      • Rubber extrusions
      • Die cutting
      • Raw material processing (preforming, calendering, rubber compound mixing)

      4. Project will renovate and upgrade existing space, create jobs

The $27.3 million renovation project is expected to create 134 new jobs. It will upgrade DP’s current facilities to accommodate new machinery, expanded warehousing, increased inventory capacity and modern office space.

      5. Leadership shows support

      J. Pearson, CEO of Durable Products:

“We are excited to be a new manufacturing company in the great state of Tennessee. TNECD was instrumental in helping us to decide to locate here. We were based in Texas, and now we are happy to call Crossville, Tennessee, home. We appreciate all the hard work from the local and state officials that helped us make this decision.”

Founder Mike Dalton has emphasized his desrire to secure a sustainable future for the company and its employees through the sale:

“As one of the most significant employers in the Crossville area, it was important to find an investor who not only appreciated the value of the business but would continue to invest in our people and the company that they helped build.”

Sen. Paul Bailey (Sparta) said the expansion will further strengthen the region’s economy.

“With 134 new jobs and a $27.3 million investment in Crossville, this project will strengthen our local economy and provide new opportunities for hardworking families across the Upper Cumberland,” Bailey said.

Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton:
