LEBANON – The 2022 Wilson County Fair—Tennessee State Fair will include many new rides on the carnival midway this year. A total of 60 rides and attractions will thrill riders at Tennessee’s largest Fair, said Rick Reithoffer, President of Reithoffer Shows, the carnival provider at the Fair. “We’ve added nine new attractions to the midway which riders will find adding more fun to their trip to the fair.”
Reithoffer said the nine rides include:
Monster Truck: Just like the big monster trucks but only small for kiddie customers. Kids can drive the trucks up and down while enjoying the special sound effects of roaring and crashing around and around.

Orient Express: This is an oriental themed kiddie coaster with a beautiful Chinese Dragon that takes the little ones on a small version roller coaster that they will love.
Speedy Gonzalez: Brand new roller coaster themed with that fast little mouse, Speedy Gonzalez. This is a family coaster ride that is a smaller version of the adult size coasters. Now the little ones can ride the crazy mouse cars up and down the track all around and around again. This is how they will fall in love with the roller coaster rides.

Spiderman: This Spiderman themed ride is the one that kids love to go on again and again! It is a climb through maze of obstacles and across swinging bridges that ends going through a slide chute and ending on a bounce.

Mine Craft: This is the funhouse decorated with the one of your kids’ favorite video game themes, Mine Craft. The kids will not only enjoy walking through the maze of surprises but also just marveling at the graphics, they become part of the game.

Super Fun slide: Three lane slide for small adults and kids. Who doesn’t love a slide! Grab a burlap bag (your magic carpet) and climb up almost 40’ to the top. Then pick a lane, climb into your “magic carpet” and slide down the 90’ over a few humps and to the bottom. The kids will want to do this one again and again…. So will you 36”-42” WITH

Zipper: One of the all-time thrill rides for fairgoers. Newly refurbished, this one will throw you around a bit, we use the word “violent” to describe it. Are you brave enough to climb into that little car and have it toss you about?! You will flip around in the car all while the car is going around a small track with two super tight turns that will flip that car around and keep it spinning all the while the track itself is also turning…. This one should NEVER be ridden right after lunch.
48” MINIMUM, NO SINGLE RIDERS
Sky Flyer: This vertical swing ride will take you up almost 100’ in the air while swinging in a large circle above the midway. This one has the very best views of the entire area. You really will feel like you are flying through the sky.
42”- 48” MINIMUM WITH ADULT/48” WITHOUT ADULT
Wave Swinger: Brand new and direct from Italy, the Wave Swinger is a showpiece. This is a beautiful swing ride that brings enjoyment to not only the rider but also the observer. It has beautifully decorated panels and the lights at night add another whole layer of sparkle and awe!
