COOKEVILLE – Innovative Family Care (IFC) welcomes Anna Williams, a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to the team. She graduated from Tennessee Tech University with her bachelor’s of science in nursing in 2013 and her master’s of science in nursing in 2017. She has worked in the Upper Cumberland for the duration of her nursing career, both in the hospital and community health settings.
In 2017, Williams joined the staff at Oasis Medical Center in Livingston, TN, working under the supervision of Dr. Kenneth Colburn. She attributes much of her confidence and competence in family practice to her time spent working with Dr. Colburn. During that time, she provided care for patients across the lifespan, from infants to seniors.
Williams is excited to begin at Innovative Family Care and continue her career in family medicine. She strives to deliver evidence-based care in a kind, understanding manner. She looks forward to developing strong patient-provider relationships at IFC and is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Upper Cumberland through primary care.
Williams is married to her college sweetheart, Seth, and together they have two children, Abby and Jack. Their family lives on a farm in Baxter. She enjoys singing, having picnics and spending quality time with the people she loves.
