WCTE to air Tennessee Tech graduation ceremonies

COOKEVILLE – WCTE PBS will broadcast Tennessee Tech University’s commencement ceremonies starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 on the WORLD Channel and also and via stream at wcte.org and WCTE’s Facebook page. 

Starting at 9 a.m. from Tucker Stadium, commencement ceremonies will begin with the College of Education and the College of Interdisciplinary Studies. Starting at noon, commencement ceremonies consist of the College of Engineering, College of Fine Arts and Whitson-Hester School of Nursing. Finally, at 3 p.m. commencement ceremonies consist of the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business and College of Agriculture & Human Ecology.

“With the COVID-19 pandemic uprooting traditional graduation ceremonies, we are honored to share in the excitement with the communities we serve through our broadcast and online platforms to support Tennessee Tech University to help celebrate one of the most significant milestones in a student’s life,” said Brent Clark, director of content and digital media.

The WCTE PBS staff extends its warmest congratulations to all the Tennessee Tech University graduates on Saturday.
