WARREN COUNTY – It’s no joke. Main Street McMinnville recently announced the opening date for the county’s farmers market, and sales for the spring season will start on Saturday, April 1, April Fools’ Day.

The Warren County Farmer’s Market is celebrating its 25th year in 2017, and to celebrate, officials will host a Food Truck Day at the Market with extended hours from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Vendors include High Roller Smokers, Collins River BBQ, Hickory Creek BBQ, and Good Ole Sloppy Top, offering a wide range of dishes from breakfast to lunch.

The Warren County Farmer’s Market runs through the end of November – on Saturdays from April 1-Nov. 25 and Wednesdays from May 1-Nov. 29 – and often includes activities, samples, and contests for market-goers. It’s held at the McMinnville Farmer’s Market Pavilion, located downtown at Market Street. Normal hours are 6 a.m.-noon. For more information, call (931) 473-1212.
