Upper Cumberland Women’s Club to hold August meeting

COOKEVILLE – We invite all professional (active or retired) women and guests of Upper Cumberland to join us for our August 28 meeting in Cookeville. You are welcome to meet dynamic women, enjoy a wonderful lunch and hear our keynote speaker.  Lindsay Hollowaylived a life of addiction and incarceration for over eight years. Since being set free from these strongholds, she is driven to shine a light to lead people to Jesus’ transformative love. She has been sharing her testimony for seven years in jails, prisons, schools, and churches. She serves as the Putnam County Women’s Jail Ministry Leader for Life Church. Lindsay is pursuing a degree at Colorado Christian University in Biblical Studies and Organizational Management in Christian Leadership. She also partners with other nonprofits such as the Beacon Center of Tennessee, ERLC, and Prison Fellowship as an advocacy speaker for criminal justice reform policies. She lives in Baxter, TN with her husband, Derek Holloway, and daughter, Morgan Holloway. Derek and Lindsay lead a small group at Life Church to disciple men and women coming out of incarceration and addiction.

The price for the lunch is $15 (plus gratuity) payable at the door. Extra donations for the annual scholarship/benevolent fund are always welcome! Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend. (A portion of the proceeds is dedicated to the UCWC scholarship and/or benevolent fund to support local women’s advocacy issues.) To reserve your spot, email ucwomensclub@gmail.com.
