“Carrie’s journey with Encore has been marked by steady growth, exceptional leadership, and an unwavering commitment to both our mission and our people.” – Zach Gantt, CEO
According to the company, Encore Health of Livingston, a health care software company whose Nexus platform powers advanced telerespiratory services and technology-enabled respiratory programs for post-acute care providers, has a new chief development officer (CDO).
Carrie Proffitt, who first joined Encore as director of clinical operations, has “quickly established herself as a trusted leader known for her clinical excellence and relentless work ethic,” said the company, according to the report.
“Proffitt’s promotion marks the latest step in a distinguished tenure at Encore, where she has consistently taken on greater responsibility and driven meaningful growth across the organization,” according to the company.
Proffit was soon promoted to vice president of clinical operations and then to senior vice president of operations, where she oversaw clinical operations, software development and IT.
“Carrie’s journey with Encore has been marked by steady growth, exceptional leadership, and an unwavering commitment to both our mission and our people,” said Zach Gantt, CEO, according to the release. “When I first asked her how she would lead a software development team, she told me, ‘I may not know much about software development, but I know-how to lead people.’ That comment was a true sign of a leader willing to do whatever it takes to drive our company forward. Today, she knows more about software development than anyone outside the dev team.”
According to the report, Proffitt will now be responsible for:
- Staff development and leadership growth
- Program development and clinical operations
- Encore’s newest population health initiative
- Information technology and software development
“Carrie’s heart for people, her personality (sometimes unfiltered) and her ability to develop leaders make her uniquely suited for this role,” Gantt added. “We are confident that she will rise to the occasion, strengthen Encore’s foundation and fuel our future.”
