Van Buren and Clay counties have highest unemployment at 4.6%
The unemployment number in the Upper Cumberland changed little in December.
Warren County has a rate of 3.9%. Elsewhere, Cannon County sits at 3.6%, up from 3.3% in the previous month, while Clay sits at 4.6%. Cumberland County sits at 4.5% and DeKalb County landed at 4.3%.
Fentress stands at 3.6% while Van Buren landed at 4.6%. Jackson County stands at 4.1% in December, and Macon County’s number stands at 3.1%. Overton stands at 3.4% while Putnam sits at a 3.5%. Smith landed at 3.1% and White County’s rate is 3.7%.
Pickett County sits at 4% unemployment in December.
