Ribbon cutting and celebration is Sept. 26
Cookeville – Upper Cumberland Local Workforce Development Board’s is celebrating the grand opening of its new office with the Cookeville-Putnam Chamber of Commerce (Chamber).
The ribbon cutting and celebration is Sept. 26 at 2 p.m with an open house to follow from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“They connect job seekers with employment, education, training and support services, while also facilitating employer-worker matches,” says the Chamber. “In response to area employment needs, local elected officials in cooperation with the Local Workforce Development Board strive to customize services to our Workforce Development area. Don’t miss the grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting event.”
The event will take place at First Horizon Bank in the Dining Hall at 345 S Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville.
