TSBDC at RSCC presents TSBDC small business forum

OAK RIDGE – The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Roane State Community College will host an in-person business forum gathering small business owners, city, county and chamber officials to discuss resources and support for small business development in the seven counties serviced by the Oak Ridge TSBDC office. The TSBDC Oak Ridge office serves Anderson, Campbell, Cumberland, Loudon, Morgan, Roane and Scott counties.

Stephen Williams, Director for the TSBDC office at RSCC stated he expects a diverse group interested in developing and supporting small businesses in his service area.

“We’re all looking for creative and sustainable solutions to assist small businesses. The forum will provide a platform to highlight existing services and offer the opportunity to discuss specific issues in a panel discussion,” said Williams. “I also want to thank our event sponsor, First Horizon Bank, for their support and interest in small business.”

In addition to start-up assistance, the Oak Ridge, TN TSBDC Office provides existing business assistance including, but not limited to: business growth planning, government contracting, social media strategy, international trade and sources of capital.
