Hospitals from all US states were eligible for the ranking
Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital has been included in Newsweek’s list of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2026, ranking in the Top 10 in Tennessee. Check out the list HERE.
Proximity and access are important when choosing between top hospitals, according to Ascension.
“The America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2026 ranking was created to identify the top hospitals at the state level. Hospitals from all US states were eligible for the ranking and included in the nationwide survey. Four data sources were used for the evaluation: Hospital Quality Metrics, Hospital Reputation, Patient Experience, and a Statista PROMS Implementation Survey. As a result, the 800 hospitals that scored the highest across these criteria have been included on the list,” according to a release by the hospital.
Hospital officials say they are honored and that the recognition reinforces its goal of patient satisfaction.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our physicians, nurses and associates who provide compassionate, high-quality care every day,” said Eric Paul, president of Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. “At River Park, our focus is always on delivering the right care, at the right time, close to home.”
