Cookeville Chamber to Host Celebration Ahead of Venue’s Full Rollout
(UCBJ) – The Cookeville Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for Peacock Tea Room’s (PTR) new private event venue at 1310 Walter Reed Road on Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
PTR offers “an intimate and elegant setting” for:
- bridal luncheons
- birthday celebrations
- Bible studies
- and private gatherings of all kinds
“Think dressing up, slowing down, and enjoying a beautiful afternoon with the people you love,” according to the Chamber.
Weather permitting, guests can bring their own food and enjoy outdoor seating on the veranda or pool patio.
“The full Peacock Tea Room experience is still to come, so stay tuned for updates,” according to the Chamber.
PTR will donate 85% of proceeds from every event held there to Open Heart Rescue and Shriners Children’s Hospital, supporting rescue animals and children in need around the world.
