ADA Accessible Space Designed to Welcome Athletes of All Abilities
(UCBJ) – The Eleven, a new nonprofit indoor turf facility, celebrated its grand opening last week in Cookeville. The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event
The facility, created by Elizabeth and Anthony Warlick through the Joseph Warlick Memorial Foundation, honors their son, Joseph, his love for soccer and “the number (11) he proudly wore.
The facility features:
- State-of-the-art indoor turf fields for training and pickup games
- A flexible meeting and event space
- Fully ADA accessible programming designed to welcome individuals of all abilities
“The Eleven will also serve as a proud home of the TOPSoccer program in the Upper Cumberland, a community-based training program that provides inclusive soccer opportunities for youth with physical and intellectual disabilities, ensuring that no young athlete is left on the sidelines,” according to the Chamber.
