RAP is a nationally recognized and accredited license
On May 23, the Department of Labor (DOL) office of apprenticeship will be on-site at Stone Mechanical in Cookeville for the first signing day its “Registered Apprenticeship Program” (RAP) for Stone Services doing business as Stone Mechanical.
“This program allows us to take trainees with zero experience in the trades and train them with a combination of classroom and field training with an end goal of a Journeyman’s License from the Department of Labor in whichever trade we have trained them in,” according to James Welch at Stone Mechanical.
The RAP is a nationally recognized and accredited license that “only time and training can get you.”
“On May 23rd, the Office of Apprenticeship will be here to hold our First signing day, at which our Apprentices-to-be will sign-up for the program, and our first class will be recognized for completing the first phase of their training,” said Welch.
The event will begin at 2 p.m at 315 Transport Dr, Cookeville. For more information call 931-717-1837, email info@stonemech.net or visit HERE.
