Cookeville – Holly Spring has been promoted to Mortgage Operations Manager at SmartBank.
The banking giants says the advancement is well deserved and “a testament to her exceptional skills, dedication and significant contributions” to the company.

She has been in the financial industry for nearly 25 years. In 2015, Spring was first promoted to a management position as the Mortgage Underwriting Manager. Before her time at SmartBank, she held positions as Senior Mortgage Underwriter, Head of Mortgage Operations and Branch Operations Manager.
Spring holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Wilkes University and an impressive professional profile. She is a member of the ABA Mortgage Market Committee and has collaborated with the Florida Housing Finance Corporation as a Florida bond lender since 2004. Spring’s expertise includes being an FHA Direct Endorsement underwriter, a VA SAR (staff appraiser reviewer) and a VA-approved underwriter since 2000.
She is also a USDA Rural Housing, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriter.
